First, Beyonce
There is much talk going around about the new records out by Beyonce’ and Taylor Swift.
1st let’s examine Beyonce’.
I think this was a rivalry in motion since the night Taylor Swift won her first Grammy and Kanye West jumped up onstage screaming that it should have gone to Beyonce’. Well, it’s possible that Beyonce’ really took that to heart. You never know what a woman thinks. Maybe Beyonce’ thought she was on top of her game and along comes this 18-year-old girl and kicks her ass playing Country!
That was something she couldn’t change. It was another genre, out of Beyonce’s reach. So, naturally, she just had to accept it and move on. She did. Then Swift started playing Beyonce’s genre and selling lots of records. But it really got bananas when Taylor Swift started by-passing Beyonce’s sales on Beyonce’s own turf.
I honestly think this is what Beyonce’ is doing. It’s a dig. “Stay out of my genre!” This is why she dressed like a country star. She’s mocking Swift that started her career in Country.
So, back to the album. I didn’t hear any hits on this. OK, maybe one or two. Texas Hold ‘Em” will get airplay and “Bodyguard” will get a lot as well. Let’s face it, these 2 gals have about 4 billion dollars combined (guessing), and they have the largest platform and name recognition in the world. They have the very best of vocalists backing them and musicians and production hours etc. There are some very nice harmonies and chorales along with interesting work on the covers. I got a feeling like I was hearing her sing along with Lawrence Welk.
I guess if you like Beyonce’, you’ll consider your money well spent.
I just listened to this 27-track piece of work and came to a few conclusions and probably most important is the nagging question: “Is This a Country Record?”
As plainly as I can possibly tell you… it is absolutely not.
Funny thing about artists like these, they tend to be extremely egotistical. They don’t like being told that they can’t do Country if that’s what they want to do.
So, yeah! Sure! You can DO Country… but there’s a Country Feel just like there was a very soulful feel when Ray Charles released his first Country record.
(watch this segway) …
Speaking of Ray Charles: In 1962, Ray recorded “I Can’t Stop Loving You” by Don Gibson @Capital Studios for ABC-Paramount Records. So, stop with the bullshit about Whites not wanting blacks in Country. That’s ridiculous. Blacks have been in Country for quite some time.

Let’s get to the meat of this. There are memes all over the place talking about Mel Gibson and his new studio … It’s satire. Another meme claims Beyonce’ is no country star, and all these country artists are saying they won’t perform with her and blah, blah, blah… Anything done in this manner is typically satire. There are many that paint White Christians as racist or born with privilege. The Red Neck Profile becomes the wisest brand to choose; you have to wonder why TV Ads and many other outlets brand our people with details. Always profiling and judging. Creating Racism, not trying to eliminate it.

Country Music isn’t something you can just copy! You are either born and raised in it, or you’re not.
Yes! I definitely admit that your love of music came from something that inspired you. Christianity just happens to be more tied into White Ancestry & White Christianity within our culture. Or at least it did before we opened our borders wide open. Taylor had that type of childhood. I don’t know her personal story, but I’m slick enough to understand that people of different races have different cultures. This probably pisses Beyonce’ off too. Who knows? Please stop all the categorizing. It’s exhausting. So, just because I’m a White Male Christian, I am NOT a Black Male in their church. They have soul man! We’re stiff-necked traditional Catholics and “Born Again” Christians and Protestants, and on & on & on …
Therefore, I guess one could consider themselves a fan of Country if they are White Christians. I’m a Rock Fan, so I do understand that sometimes the genre isn’t just a music chart: Sometimes it’s deep in your soul and the sound is specific to others in many different ways. I also don’t know Beyonce’s information either. She’s got some good tracks. I think she’s a wonderful talent, just not really my taste. I may be a fan of Rock, but I grew up with a Country Dad. Trust me, when I hear Country, I know it. Beyonce’ just simply isn’t Country. That’s all.
I think Beyonce’ is at some point in her life where something is bothering her terribly and she needs to just break away from it. Maybe she doesn’t really know what she wants. Maybe she’s written enough already. She has no one to please or apologize to. Maybe she just needs a break or something. These are dark times. Look around you. Everything is falling apart. We’re very depressed. I’m sure the lives of these ladies are difficult. They don’t live like we do. I don’t have my own aircraft, for instance.
They will both say so many things in their songs that WE can relate to, right? Well, I’m positive that I cannot relate to owning my own jet. From hearing Beyonce’s Record, one can easily come to the conclusion that Beyonce’ doesn’t appear to be a Christian, so actually “BEING” Country don’t cut it. I’m afraid Beyonce’ is no Slim Whitman. Country derived from Christian Hymns.
On to Taylor Swift
The Tortured Poets Department

OK! The new Taylor Swift Record.
This appears at first glance to be a 31-track extravaganza.
I’m not a really big fan, but Taylor has a knack for coming up with some cool little ditties. I got to track 22 before I realized I’d heard some interesting melodies, but only a low charged hit from the title track and also the song called “So High School.” Up until this point, this record appears pretty dark. Lot of dreary slow-paced stuff. Not sure how her audience is going to receive this.
She’s probably exhausted from the Eras Tour (which just wrapped up), and seriously needs a break.
Releasing this record may completely destroy Taylor Swift. I don’t know! Stranger things have happened. Or maybe she’s just all done. YES! It can happen. Sometimes people just lose their magic touch and poof. Either she’s trying to find herself somewhere between all this fame, fortune, glitz & glamor and simmer down and do a very fine, well thought out album; or she’s missed her mark. This is a travesty from someone as huge as Taylor Swift.
This is what happens to these people. They sell their souls to the Devil, they get you into position for an enormous payday, which Taylor certainly has done. Her entire enterprise and affiliates problems made literally billions in 2023 and that’s going to be that. We’ll see, I guess.
Anyway… I guess they’re worth the money if you really love these 2 Queens.
Beyonce’ has always been a Satan Worshipper, but Taylor is new to all this Leftist BS. This is her first record that comes with an Explicit Language label. Relax folks. Yeah! She throws in Fuck & Shit a few times. Relax. Eminem was far, far filthier. I think your kids can survive Taylor Swift.
